Layout and Image Curation, 2016
filament. Magazine was a conceptual project intended to revitalise the textile and sustainable fashion industry to create appeal to younger markets. The magazine drew on contemporary designers, colour and new methods of pattern making to shift the textile industry out of overused and dated ideas to something more fresh and modern. From the bold textiles by Shilo Engelbrecht to the contemporary twist on cultural motif by Niyi Okuboyejo, the project was an exercise of curation and layout design.
